DEAR MEMBERS
The Penang Club food bank project commenced on Monday (12/7/2021) and we are encouraged by the many donations which have poured in.
On Monday we delivered 35 food packets to The Salvation Army, 35 food packets to St Joseph’s Home, 40 food packets to Trishaw peddlers and 20 food packets to the needy at Kuan Yim temple Pitt Street.
On Tuesday 100 food packets were sent to Rumah Orang Tua Uzur Pulau Pinang (The Penang Home for The Infirm And Aged), and Wednesday 45 food packets were delivered to Evershine Old Folks Home, and 40 food packets to Cameo Elderly Care Centre and Goody Bags containing essential items as well as Infant Milk Powder and Diapers were sent to 3 underprivileged families.
In view of the challenging times more so to the needy, any further donations will be most welcomed. We can proudly say that members have once again risen to the occasion. Your immense caring spirit is evident from the warmly received response. The General Committee and Management take this opportunity to thank each and every member who has contributed to this noble cause.
